Staying Connected: Updating Your MyCOTHA Profile!

At Church of the Holy Apostles, community is at the heart of everything we do. One of the best ways we stay connected and care for one another is through our online directory: MyCOTHA.

Think of MyCOTHA as our digital front porch, a place where you can view your own information, find contact details for others in our church family, register for events, and manage your giving preferences. It’s secure, easy to use, and tailored to help us stay in touch with one another throughout the week and not just on Sundays.

Why keep your information up to date?

Because it helps us serve you better, whether it's ensuring you receive pastoral care in times of need, sending you relevant communications about ministries you care about, or simply putting a name to a face. We rely on accurate information to keep our church community thriving. Additionally, we have created your profile using readily available information. However, we’ve been known to miss phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, and even misspelled names.

We LOVE your photos!

We’re a growing church, and that’s a beautiful thing, but it also means it can be hard to keep track of all the new faces and names. That’s where photos in MyCOTHA make a big difference.

When you add a photo to your profile, you help others (including clergy, staff, and fellow congregants) recognize you, learn your name, and feel more connected. It’s especially helpful for new members, volunteers, and ministry leaders who are trying to build relationships across the church.

Thankfully, updating your profile with pictures and other data is super simple!

Updating your profile

• Log in here (if you don't have a profile, you will have the opportunity to request one)

• Click on your profile icon in the top right-hand corner 

• Hover over the photo placeholder and click on the camera - you will be able to upload a photo for each of your family members

• Under your name and next to contact info is a place to upload a family photo if you’d like

• Under your name is an Edit Profile button - use this link to update your profile information and that of your family members.

Finding Others

When you log in to myCOTHA, you’ll see a list of groups on the right side of the screen. These are your current groups, including “Admin | Current Congregation.” This group is updated in real-time as congregants update their profiles.

It might seem small, but updating your myCOTHA account is a big step toward helping us grow as a connected, caring, and Christ-centered community.
