Church of the Holy Apostles (“COTHA”) was built to the glory of God. The church building and surrounding property is a tool for the congregation of COTHA to minister to the people of God. Use of the building and surrounding property by the congregation and the people of the community will serve to spread the gospel, reveal God's love and the good news to all who visit our place of worship.

General Guidelines

We are excited and honored to host your group! However, your group is one of many, and the guidelines below help ensure the space is ready for each gathering and for Sunday worship.

HVAC
Our HVAC system works hard in the Texas heat. And the random snow day! Please do not prop exterior doors open. If you need doors unlocked or additional FOBs, please let us know.

A word on blinds:
Leaving blinds CLOSED on exterior windows will help rooms stay cool.
Leaving blinds OPEN on interior windows helps keep students and teachers safeguarded.

Trash
Please remove your group's trash at the end of each day. This helps us prevent odors and pests. If the dumpster is full, place bags securely on top of the closed dumpster rather than leaving them on the ground, where animals can easily get into them.

Restrooms
Cleaning supplies are available in each restroom. We ask groups to give toilets and seats a quick wipe-down as needed to help keep facilities clean and welcoming between professional cleanings. If supplies need replenishing, please let us know.

Lights and Doors
When leaving for the day, please turn off all lights and lock and secure doors. This helps us steward our resources and keeps the campus safe.

Room Setup
Unless other arrangements have been made, please return rooms to their original setup before leaving. Many of our spaces are used for worship and ministry on Sunday mornings, so restoring rooms helps ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for the weekend. Please either click on the applicable day's link or see the room tabs for specific room resets.

Broken or damaged furniture or equipment
We get it - things happen. Please let us know about broken or damaged furniture or equipment ASAP so that we can dispose of and replace it.

Thank you for helping us care for these shared spaces. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to hosting your group. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
