CHURCH OF THE HOLY APOSTLES
STUDENTS
We believe that families and youth are central pillars of our church and community.
We strive to strengthen all families by providing them with a strong Biblical spiritual foundation and formation through our educational and social activities, centered on basic Christian values.
COTHA Student Ministry (CSM) is the student ministry (6th-12th grade) here at COTHA. We offer many programs and opportunities for students to learn about the love of Jesus and how to apply Christian principles in their lives.
STUDENT PROGRAMS
Student Sunday Nights
During the school year, High School and Middle School students are invited to join us in the Student Center every Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for snacks, a lesson, and games. Students are encouraged to invite their friends for an evening of fun and fellowship!
Student Formation
During our 10:30 a.m. service, our students get to explore their faith and experience God through a Bible story, activities, and prayer time. They will return to the main service during the announcements and before communion.
Rooted in Christ. Ready for What's Ahead
Our graduating high school seniors are invited to a formation class designed to help them carry their faith into the next season of life. Using The Jesus I Wish I Knew in High School, we will explore what it means to follow Jesus with honesty, courage, and a faith that lasts beyond graduation.
Begins Apr 12 • 11:45 a.m.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the candidates "express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop" (BCP, p. 860). We host a special class every other odd-numbered year for students wishing to make this "mature commitment."

Junior Daughters of the King
Junior Daughters of the King provides girls or young women (ages 7-21) the opportunity to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus Christ while serving their church and community. They are an integral part of the Daughters of the King Order and the hope is that they continue the mission of The Order by transitioning to senior Daughters.
JDOK is open to all girls and young women ages 7-21.
If you are interested in joining our chapter, please contact Janevieve Parks.
Student Mission and Outreach
Mission is one way we disciple our students and young adults. Through local service opportunities and mission trips, we invite them to see the world through the lens of the Gospel, to practice generosity, and to develop a lifelong heart for the Church beyond themselves.
All students in 6th–12th grade are invited to join us in the Hill Country June 14–20 as we serve communities still recovering from the 2025 floods. This week will be an opportunity to put our faith into action through hands-on service, prayer, and time together. Plans are still taking shape, and we invite you to keep this trip in your prayers as we continue to discern how best to support those rebuilding their homes and lives.
