COTHA Students

COTHA Student Ministry (CSM) is the student ministry (6th-12th grade) here at COTHA. We offer many programs and opportunities for students to learn about the love of Jesus and how to apply Christian principles in their lives.

Our Student Program

Student Wednesday Nights

During the school year, High School and Middle School students are invited to join us in the Student Center every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for dinner, a lesson, and games. Students are encouraged to invite their friends for an evening of fun and fellowship!

Student Formation

During our 10:30 a.m. service, our students get to explore their faith and experience God through a Bible story, activities, and prayer time. They will return to the main service during the announcements and before communion.

Confirmation

Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the candidates "express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop" (BCP, p. 860). We host a special class every other odd-numbered year for students wishing to make this "mature commitment."

Returns Fall 2025

Junior Daughters of the King

Junior Daughters of the King provides girls or young women (ages 7-21) the opportunity to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus Christ while serving their church and community. They are an integral part of the Daughters of the King Order and the hope is that they continue the mission of The Order by transitioning to senior Daughters.

JDOK is open to all girls and young women ages 7-21.

If you are interested in joining our chapter, please contact Adelle McKinstry.

Student Mission and Outreach

COTHA is a Biblically faithful community that connects people to Christ through love in action. We do this through our Mission and Outreach efforts with our young children, through our student program, and into our adult programs.

Contact our Director of Family Ministry, Becca Rivas at becca@cotha.org, for more information.
