2023 Generosity Campaign

Fall 2022

Episcopal churches conduct a stewardship campaign every fall where they invite members to make a financial pledge for the church’s annual budget in the coming year.

In other words, we ask members to prayerfully commit to a certain level of giving to fund the church’s mission and ministry for one year.  A pledge tells the church how much financial support you plan to give toward the ministries of the church for the coming year, and at what intervals.

It is a promise to set aside money in the coming year for the ministry of the church.  In other words, you are letting the church know what you plan to give during the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023.

Home Groups

Fall 2022

We believe that significant life change best takes place in the context of intentional relationships and Home Groups are the ideal place where this happens. Home Groups are a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are looking to launch more groups!  If you are interested in joining a group click here to get started.

Fight the Bite

Fall 2022

Malaria is particularly devastating in Africa, where it is a leading killer of children. In fact, there are 10 new cases of malaria every second. Every 60 seconds, a child in Africa dies from malaria infection and 90% of all malaria deaths occur in the region. When combined with HIV/AIDS, malaria is even more deadly, particularly for pregnant women and children.

The COTHA Team will be traveling to Uganda in October to deliver over 6,000 nets! Your donation of only $10 provides a net that helps cover a family of 4 for over 5 years!

Christmas Poinsettias

December 2022

The shape of the poinsettia flower and leaves are sometimes thought of as a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem which led the Wise Men to Jesus. The red-colored leaves symbolize the blood of Christ.

Every year, we purchase our poinsettias from Brookwood,  a God-centered educational, residential, and entrepreneurial community for adults with functional disabilities. These poinsettias are placed in the church for our Christmas Eve services to honor and celebrate the birth of Christ.
