Fight the Bite

Spring 2023

Malaria is particularly devastating in Africa, where it is a leading killer of children. In fact, there are 10 new cases of malaria every second. Every 60 seconds, a child in Africa dies from malaria infection and 90% of all malaria deaths occur in the region. When combined with HIV/AIDS, malaria is even more deadly, particularly for pregnant women and children.

The COTHA Team will travel to Uganda in February to deliver over 6,000 nets! Your donation of only $10 provides a net that helps cover a family of 4 for over 5 years!

Seasonal Events

2023 Generosity Campaign

Fall 2022

Episcopal churches conduct a stewardship campaign every fall where they invite members to make a financial pledge for the church’s annual budget in the coming year.

In other words, we ask members to prayerfully commit to a certain level of giving to fund the church’s mission and ministry for one year.  A pledge tells the church how much financial support you plan to give toward the ministries of the church for the coming year and at what intervals.

It is a promise to set aside money in the coming year for the ministry of the church.  In other words, you are letting the church know what you plan to give during the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023.
