Alex is away on sabbatical from May 12 through Aug 12, 2026. During this time, our associate rector, vestry, staff, and lay leaders are ensuring that worship, pastoral care, and congregational life continue to runs smoothly.

Lord of the Streets, or LOTS, is an Episcopal church in downtown Houston that welcomes, restores, and rebuilds lives through relationship-focused ministries with the homeless and formerly homeless.

Our nursery is open on Sundays from 7:45 a.m. to noon for children 6 weeks old through pre-kindergarten and is professionally staffed by a group of warm and dedicated adults.

Our Rite 1 8:00 a.m. service combines thought-provoking preaching with Episcopal liturgy and music.

We host adult formation classes on Sunday mornings. See cotha.org/adults for current class details.

Our Family Worship service has a modified liturgy in a casual environment for families to worship together.

Our kindergarteners through 5th-grade kids meet during our 10:30 a.m. service and experience God through their grade-specific Kids Formation Groups.

Our Rite 2 10:30 a.m. service combines thought-provoking preaching with Episcopal liturgy and music.

Members of The Order of the Daughters of the King® are women and girls between the ages of twenty-one and one hundred and seven who desire a closer walk with the Lord.

Our Young Adult Bible Study allows our 23-30s to explore their faith in a supportive and engaging environment while building community. This group meets in the Office Conference Room twice a month.

Summer socials are a great opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with friends, and learn more about our Bible study groups in a relaxed setting. If you’ve been curious about joining a study, this is the perfect time to come say hello.
