What is COTHA? What do we believe? Why do we worship the way we do? And where do I fit in?
COTHA 101 is a chance to discover the story, faith, worship, mission, and community of Church of the Holy Apostles. Whether you're new to COTHA or have been attending for a while, these classes will help you better understand who we are, what we believe, and how you can become part of the life of our church.

Our next COTHA 101 will be held on Sep 20 and Sep 27 at 11:45. Lunch will be served, and childcare is available with registration.

COTHA 101 gives you the bigger picture behind that mission. Over the course of the classes, we'll explore:

Learn the story of Church of the Holy Apostles, where we've come from, and the vision that continues to shape our church.

What We Believe
Explore the foundations of our Christian faith and discover what it means to be part of the Episcopal Church—including Scripture, the Nicene Creed, Baptism, and Holy Communion.

How We Worship
Ever wondered why we do that?
We'll talk about Episcopal worship, liturgy, the Book of Common Prayer, and why our Sunday worship brings together the richness of our tradition with contemporary music and praise.

How We Live Our Faith
At COTHA, faith isn't just something we talk about on Sunday. We'll explore the ways our church puts its mission into practice through service, missions, outreach, and relationships in Katy and around the world.

COTHA 101 is also an opportunity to learn more about joining the COTHA family. If you decide COTHA is the church home God is calling you to, we'll help you take the next step. If you've been baptized with water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you are welcome to become part of our church family regardless of the denomination in which you were baptized.
