Dear COTHA Family,
Over the past year, this congregation has continued to show faithful generosity and deep commitment to the mission God has entrusted to us. Because of you, our ministries remain strong and active, connecting people to Christ through love in action and nurturing a Biblically faithful community where faith is lived and shared.
We have now closed the books for 2025, and the financial summary shared at our Annual Meeting reflects both your generosity and the careful stewardship of congregational resources. You may access your 2025 giving statement here or by emailing me directly. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have.
As we look ahead to 2026, the Vestry has prayerfully approved a budget that builds on the momentum we are experiencing as a congregation. This budget allows us to continue investing in Children and Student Ministries, Adult Formation, and Outreach, while also supporting the ongoing health and growth of our congregation. We are especially grateful for the ways God is strengthening our community and calling us into deeper connection and shared ministry.
At the same time, we want to be transparent about the remaining gap between pledged giving and the full cost of our ministries. We approach this not with fear, but with trust—trust that God continues to work through this faithful community. Again and again, we have seen how generosity grows when hearts are opened in prayer and gratitude.
We invite you to review the 2026 budget below and to pray with us—for our ministries, for continued generosity, and for God’s provision as we live into the work before us.
With gratitude,
Donna Matthews, on behalf of the Finance Committee
