1Q 2026 Financial Update

Dear COTHA Family,

As we reflect on our year-to-date 2026 financials, we want to say thank you. Your generosity continues to sustain and strengthen the life of our church. Because of your faithful giving, we remain a place where people encounter God’s love, grow in faith, and share hope with our neighbors in Katy and beyond. Every gift, of any size, makes a meaningful difference in the ministry we share together.

We’re grateful to report that giving remains strong this year. As we continue to welcome new faces into our community, we’re seeing God at work in and through our growing presence in the Katy area. It is an encouraging season, one marked by both numerical growth and deepening spiritual life.

With that growth comes both opportunity and responsibility. One of our ongoing challenges is caring for an aging facility. Like any well-loved and well-used home, it requires consistent attention and, at times, significant repair. At the same time, we are thoughtfully discerning our staffing needs for the season ahead, seeking to align our team and resources with where God is leading us. This means prayerfully evaluating current roles, identifying areas of need in student ministry and adult engagement, and supporting the ministry opportunities before us.

Even with these considerations, we remain in a healthy place overall. Your continued generosity allows us to meet present needs while staying focused on the mission God has given us and preparing faithfully for what lies ahead.
