2025 Blessing of the Backpacks

This past Sunday, August 11, our congregation joined together for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks, a special moment to pray over our students, teachers, and other professionals as a new academic year begins. It was a joy to see the sanctuary filled with colorful backpacks, smiling faces, and the hope of what God will do in and through our young people this year.

During the service, we prayed and placed blessing tags on each backpack as a tangible reminder that God’s love and our church family’s prayers go with them wherever they go.

If you weren’t able to be with us, we still have blessing tags available! You can pick one up in the church office or at the welcome kiosk on Sunday morning. Whether you’re starting school for the first time, heading into a new grade, or working in education, we’d love for you to have this reminder of God’s presence with you.
