Student Mission Trip - San Antonio - Arrival Day
Arrival Day started off with our congregation blessing the team...
Everliving God, whose will it is that all should come to you through your Son Jesus Christ: Inspire our witness to him, that all may know the power of his forgiveness and the hope of his resurrection; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Join us in praying this week for their work in underserved communities, protection as they travel and work construction, and open their hearts to new relationships as they serve the people of San Antonio.
And then we're off! Our car ride to San Antonio was an adventure! We sang Taylor Swift at the top of our lungs, did the WarHead challenge, and struggled with making a simple group chat!
We made it to our camp late in the afternoon and are here with a few other churches. We will be serving Mr. Garcia who was some major heath issues with his roof. Everyone is super excited.
