2024 El Salvador - Arrival Day

Our flight was delayed, but we arrived on time in San Salvador early afternoon.
We then headed to States Diner, part of the job training program with Sus Hijos. Many of the young adults work there, and they serve us yummy meals with many choices.
We then headed to the mission house where we are staying and settled in.
After dinner, we began prepping the bags with the items that were donated by the congregation, along with a sandwich, chips, apple, and cookies. Tonight we headed out in the rain wearing ponchos to distribute the bags to the homeless. Even in the pouring rain, there were many on the streets and we gave out 150 bags.
