Student Mission Trip - San Antonio - Day 4
It was our last day at Mr. Garcia house.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish the roof but at least we got to start putting on shingles. We attempted to tear down the porch but to no avail and we ended up discovering a little critter home!
Mr. Garcia joined us again for lunch where we presented him with the scrap book we made. He belly laughed at all of the “punny” jokes. We ended up listening to Closing Time as we wrapped up our last day and said our final goodbyes to Mr. Garcia.
At chapel were each able to share how we saw Jesus this week to the whole camp. And ended the night with ice cream sandwiches! We can’t wait for our fun day at Six Flags tomorrow! (We practiced our roller coaster screams in the car on every turn!)
Everliving God, whose will it is that all should come to you through your Son Jesus Christ: Inspire our witness to him, that all may know the power of his forgiveness and the hope of his resurrection; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Join us in praying this week for their work in underserved communities, protection as they travel and work construction, and open their hearts to new relationships as they serve the people of San Antonio.
