Meet our New Nursery Staff!

Meet our two newest Nursery Staff Members,

Brittany Azie and Lily Driver!

Brittany Azie

What do you love about COTHA?

I love that everybody will treat you like family! COTHA has such a loving community!

Tell us a little about yourself...

My name is Brittany, and I'm a senior at MRHS. I love keeping myself busy! I'm involved in various extracurriculars, including orchestra, where I've played an instrument since second grade. I also love watching different shows and movies! For college, I hope to major in neuroscience and become a scientist.

And finally, do you have a favorite Bible verse?

John 3:16 - it was one of the first Bible verses I memorized when I was younger, and it serves as a constant reminder of God's sacrifice for us on Earth.

What do you love about COTHA?

What I love about COTHA is the community. I have made so many friends in the short amount of time I've been here, and it has become my happy place. I first came to COTHA in 2022. My previous church was big and very formal, with a full choir and an organ that played only traditional hymns. The contemporary service was a completely different experience. Then my parents pushed me to go on the yearly mission trip where I made friends and was able to experience what COTHA always encourages. "Love in Action."

Tell us a little about yourself...

I am a junior at Cinco Ranch High School. I am in the varsity choir and the architecture club. I have worked three summers as a camp counselor, and this summer, I worked at Camp Allen. I am active in the Lady Bird chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) and enjoy volunteering in the Katy community. I plan on being an au pair after high school and eventually becoming a licensed social worker. I also play the piano and love movies.

And finally, do you have a favorite Bible verse?

My favorite Bible Verse is John 13:34-35 because I believe our greatest duty is to love others.

Welcome to the team, Brittany and Lily!

Our nursery is open every Sunday from 7:45 a.m. to noon for children six weeks old to pre-kindergarten.
