Our COTHA Summer Intern Program is designed to provide an opportunity for learning and training for future ministry.

COTHA Summer Intern Program

Application Requirements

  • Active Involvement in Church of the Holy Apostles and / or any other Christian community

  • Currently be enrolled in a college or university.

  • Must have completed a minimum of freshman year in college to be eligible. 

  • Have a teachable, willing servant's heart.

  • Eagerness to lead and be self-motivated in planning, creating, and implementing programs.

  • Must pass a background check and attend safeguarding classes.

Duration: Jun 19-Aug 6,2023

Responsibilities

Assist the Family Ministry staff in the planning and leading of all family ministry programs K-12th grade. Responsibilities include:

  • Sunday morning Kids Formation

  • Weekly Serve Tuesdays

  • Service Projects and mission trips

  • Other special events or trips

  • Build relationships with students through weekly visits and contact.

  • Prayerfully guide students toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Working Relationships

COTHA Summer Interns will work under the administration and supervision of the Director of Family Ministry.

​

Summer School/Vacation Policy

Due to our busy summer schedule, the successful candidate should not have summer school commitments. Additionally, the Director of Family Ministry must pre-approve any planned vacation time in advance. Please note that due to the nature of our summer ministry programs, we may be unable to accommodate all requested vacation dates.
