During COTHA's Preparation for Communion classes, children will learn about the sacrament of communion while they're having fun! From a guided tour of the church to hands-on time with the elements of communion to unique activities that explore the eucharistic service from The Book of Common Prayer.

About the event
During COTHA's Preparation for Communion classes, children will learn about the sacrament of communion while they're having fun! From a guided tour of the church to hands-on time with the elements of communion to unique activities that explore the eucharistic service from The Book of Common Prayer, children will thoroughly enjoy these experiences designed to help them join more fully with their parish community and the larger communion of saints. Even if your child has been comfortable taking communion, this class will provide a background and understanding of receiving bread and wine in our Episcopal service.
Our Preparation for Communion classes will be held Feb 2 - Mar 2 in the Kids Corner from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
