About the event

The shape of the poinsettia flower and leaves are sometimes thought of as a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem, which led the Wise Men to Jesus. The red-colored leaves symbolize the blood of Christ.

Every year, we purchase our poinsettias from Brookwood, a God-centered educational, residential, and entrepreneurial community for adults with functional disabilities. These poinsettias are placed in the church for our Christmas Eve services to honor and celebrate the birth of Christ.
