We have embarked upon a Campaign that promises to deepen the faith of all of us at COTHA. A Capital Campaign may sound like a way to raise money for certain projects, and in a sense it is. But that only scratches the surface of what Time to Grow is all about. Download Time to Grow Literature

Frequently Asked Questions
How much money are we trying to raise in “Time to Grow”?
One million is the goal to be used in this way:
Roof $150,000
An electronic sign: $100,000
Covered walk-ways: $90,000
Facility infrastructure: $75,000
Debt reduction: for every dollar raised, $.5 will be used for debt reduction.
How does this stewardship journey work?
All who call COTHA home will be asked to make a commitment for the next three years. This pledge is over and above the normal tithes and offerings of the church. These commitments are then paid weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually over a 156 week period beginning with our “First Fruits Offering” on Commitment Sunday, June 12, 2016.
When and where will I make my commitment?
Commitments will be received during our Commitment Sunday services on June 12, 2016. Most commitment decisions will be made in your own home after prayerful consideration. No one will meet with you specifically to receive your commitment. You will be asked to formally and confidentially present your commitment during our commitment service on June 12, 2016. All commitments will remain confidential.
How do I give toward my commitment?
Your giving pattern is up to you. It can be weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. You can either offer your check (with Time to Grow in the memo line) during our Sunday service offering or set up a recurring gift.

Will I have an opportunity to revise my commitment?
Yes. You may revise your commitment, either up or down, at any time during the three-year giving period, just contact the church office at donna@cotha.org
Will anyone call me if I don’t keep up my giving commitment?
No. As with tithes and offerings your commitment is a personal matter between you and God. We will do everything to ensure the privacy of your giving and gift. As required by law for all non-profit organizations, we will periodically send a record of your contributions for tax purposes. But other than that, it will be strictly confidential.
