"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others..."
That’s one powerful verse! It reminds us that intertwined with Jesus’ central purpose of being crucified and resurrected, He served people.
Whether you join one of the many ministry teams at COTHA, or you choose a Global or Local Outreach opportunity, you're serving!
You have options!
The truth is, COTHA can’t do anything without the church. The church is all of us. It’s you!
Ephesians 4:16 explains it best: “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing...”
So take a minute and choose your own special work! Not sure where to start? Take the Spiritual Gift Test. Study the opportunities below and when you find the one that interest you, click here to submit a ministry form. A member of COTHA Staff will be in touch soon!

The Welcome teams @ COTHA exist to provide the warmest atmosphere possible for guests and members alike. Our goal is to make every person who comes through our doors feel like family, the COTHA Family!
Missions and Outreach
COTHA is a church that values reaching out to help our neighbors while sharing the message of Jesus Christ. COTHA seeks to share its resources with the entire community – near and far.
The vestry is a ministry of leadership. The mission of the vestry is to work with the Rector in advancing our mission. Candidates are recruited during our annual meeting usually held in December.
Diocesan Council is an annual gathering of Clergy and Lay representatives from all parishes and missions in the Diocese of Texas. Various fiscal and policy (Canonical) issues are addressed at Council, and our parish is allowed four Lay representatives in addition to our Rector who can attend and vote. Candidates are recruited during our annual meeting usually held in December.
Family | Kids
At COTHA we offer many programs and opportunities for children to learn about the love of Jesus and how to apply Christian principles in their lives. BUT, we can't do it alone and need volunteers that love teaching, kids, and having fun!
Family | Students
At COTHA we offer many programs and opportunities for students to learn about the love of Jesus and how to apply Christian principles in their lives. BUT, we can't do it alone and need volunteers that love teaching, students, and having fun!
The Care Teams at COTHA exist to provide love and care to those within our family as well as those outside the church.
