I am always uncomfortable singling out people for fear that I will leave someone off the list, but let me mention a couple (though they would be the first to say it takes many, many people to make a play such a success): first of all Karen H. needs to be thanked for sharing the King's Kid theater with us; Damon B. who directed, made sets and costumes and put up with all the chaos; Miss Jenny for all of her dedicated work organizing, reading lines, making costumes; Richard N. for his amazing creativity in making sets, acting and so much more; Simon for his working everything from blocking, sets, acting, encouraging and so on and on; Rene and Ron for all of the organizing and working.... the kids and adult actors; the workers behind the curtains pulling out sets and putting in countless hours; those who worked setting up lunches and dinners; Miss Diane for her picture taking... Cindy B. and Rick B. who worked in the lighting and sound booths... you all were incredible.
As you can see such a production could not happen without the efforts of so many, many people. For those of you who didn't get to see the show, you missed something extraordinary. Make sure you do everything you can to make next fall's production. For those of you I left off my list, thank you for all you did.
At the end of the production, it was clear that God was glorified. The story of Jesus was told through the imagination of CS Lewis and the giftedness of those who make King's Company an extraordinary production!
