By Lisa Nelson God has certainly tested our character this week and the devil tried many times to derail us but we overcame dusty roads, long drives in a van without a/c, non-potable water, sketchy electrical devices in our shower, and reptilian cuisine (among a host of other 1st world problems) to complete our mission and deliver a beautiful well sunk deep in God's good earth with good, clean water to some of the most welcoming, loving people I've ever known. Not only were we blessed to drill this well, we were blessed with many new friends we came to love and will never forget! I was also fortunate to be able to forge new friendships with my teammates and strengthen existing ones. I have about a 1000 pics to organize and will post when I get home so I can share this incredible journey with you. Until then we are on to a day of zip lining and souvenir shopping tomorrow before returning to our very supportive families on Saturday! As hard as it was to come here it's going to be even harder to leave these friends we've made and a country so desperately in need of so much but especially Living Water. Count your blessings and hug your loved ones tight! Thanks be to God! |
