“The fear of death follows from the fear of life.
A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
- Mark Twain
You only live once, and life is short. Live in the present. Your past is important to learn from. Your future is important to work towards. At the end of the day, though, the only thing that exists outside of your head is the present. So think about your past and future, but only dwell on the present. My daughter likes to watch this new show on ABC Family called ‘Chasing Life’. The show, if you have not seen it, follows a woman named April who is in her twenties. She is an aspiring journalist with great potential. Everything in her life seems to finally be coming together when she learns that she has cancer. She has Leukemia. Her whole world changes and she knows she has to live life to the fullest. I watched the last episode with Victoria and something this character said really caught my attention. April said, "There's no such thing as 5 minutes for me anymore, every minute counts.” That really got me thinking about how we don’t usually live life to the fullest and we should because we never know when it might be over. "Worrying about the future is not living." Its true we don't know what tomorrow will bring the only one who knows is God. Trust that God has the right plan and do not worry about tomorrow.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own”Matthew 6:34.
