COTHA LiL’ Kids wishing our amazing moms a very
Happy Mother’s Day
Thank you for being the face of grace to your child, for being the hands of God’s love both tender and firm. Thank you for reading stories, cleaning up paint, glitter if you dare, and marker on the walls. Thank you for singing at the stoplight, dancing in the living room, hiding and seeking, imagining. Thank you for washing, drying, folding, hanging, moping, sweeping, scrubbing, cooking, coordinating. Thank you for making forts, playing dolls, fighting superheroes, playing dress up, building blocks, squishing play dough. Moms, thank you for tying shoes, wiping noses and yes bums, drying tears, holding hearts. Thank you for teaching us how to share, be kind, to forgive, and to love!
Moms- the lists go on and on. Through the daily grind, lack of sleep, dirty laundry and dishes, sports practices, music rehearsals, play dates, and so on, remember the impressions placed on your child’s heart, yesterday, today and tomorrow, will shape your child and their children through generations! Your job has eternal significance!
Moms, find rest in your heavenly Father. Draw your strength from Him. May you be a reflection of His grace and love to your child each day, as you impress upon your sweet children the love and delight of their Savior and Lord.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
