Day 5 of mission is completed! I am reminded of Galatians 6:9…Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. We are on the home stretch! We finished up at Mrs. Harpers house today. Personally, I do not know which I despised more…the vine and related root system or the stump we finally freed today. Regardless, her yard is amazingly improved, she was tearfully grateful and our team pleased with the work we accomplished. The Life’s Hope team finished up in the garden and playground, repairing tables and giving everything a good spring cleaning. As God is always good…we “happened" to have an A/C guy on the COTHA team (Randy) and Life’s Hope, our host church, “happened" to have a youth room that has been without A/C for several years. You know the rest of the story…God worked through us to bless this host church in a very tangible way. It’s awesome :) |
Tomorrow, we play! We head to the Chattahoochee River for some rafting relaxation….pictures to follow.
Just a reminder…send your missioner an email at craig@holyapostles.cc - it can be encouraging, silly or both. They love receiving them and they are read at our meal times. Finally, many, many more pictures are atwww.photobucket.com/cotha.
